I started covering Standing Rock for NowThis in May 2016, when the first protest camp against the Dakota Access Pipeline was being established. My coverage began by talking to activists at the camp over Facebook and editing their videos and images for our audience. This work was some of the earliest reporting done on Standing Rock for a major news outlet.

In November 2016, I partnered with documentary filmmaker Josh Fox, who sent me daily footage from the camp which I then edited. In December 2016, I was able to travel to Standing Rock for five days with a team from NowThis, to report and record onsite.

My NowThis coverage of Standing Rock has been viewed more than 97 million times on Facebook and shared hundreds of thousands of times across social media.

All of these videos are posted below in chronological order.
